Who am I?

I am a follow of Jesus Christ, a husband, father, and student. I enjoy spending time with my wife and two-year old son. We are blessed beyond measure and enjoy sharing our stories with others.

I currently am working on a Masters of Divinity to pursue military chaplaincy. I served in the Army on active duty for four years and reserves for three. My desire is to serve the military community by sharing the love of Christ, helping mend marriages, and guide in the difficult journey of parenting.

Truth is… my wife and I have struggled for the past two years. After the birth of our son my wife experienced severe depression and anxiety. We explored PPD (Post Pardum Depression), but eventually realized she had a complex case of PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder). We are honest about this journey and the struggles we have faced in hopes to help others in need.

My prayer is that these stories will help in some capacity. Reach out for help if you are struggling. You cannot control the past, but you can edit your story by rewriting the future.
